More people can now qualify for a GP Visit Card as income limits have increased. Eligibility for the GP Visit Card is means tested for those aged between 8 and 69.
If you qualify for a GP Visit Card, you won’t have to pay to see your doctor. We are encouraging all who may qualify for these cards to apply.
Your application will be means tested. You will be asked to declare your income and living expenses, such as rent or mortgage, childcare and travel to work costs. You may be asked for documents to support your application.
This eligibility will be widened again in November this year. We will share more information about this in the coming weeks.
