StoneyWoods Festival Raises €1,000 for Early Onset Parkinson’s Disease Ireland
We are delighted to share that the StoneyWoods Festival in Kiltyclogher, Co. Leitrim, has raised an incredible €1,000 in support of Early Onset Parkinson’s Disease Ireland (EOPD.ie).

The StoneyWoods Festival is a much-loved three-day family-friendly celebration of life, music, and community spirit. Featuring live music, dancing, tractor runs, treasure hunts, and plenty of local events, it brings together people of all ages to celebrate connection and joy.
This year’s festival was made even more special thanks to Clare McManus, who played a central role in the event. Clare was diagnosed with Early Onset Parkinson’s Disease at just 24 years of age. She is an incredible member of our community who has openly shared her journey — her troubles and triumphs — as part of our #WeAreEOPD video series earlier this year. Today, Clare is a proud and wonderful mother to two young children and a true advocate for her community.
As an organisation funded entirely by private donations, support like this is what keeps EOPD.ie able to continue our work. Your generosity allows us to be there for anyone who needs us — ensuring that no one has to go through the journey of Early Onset Parkinson’s alone.
Thanks to Clare McManus and the entire festival team, this generous fundraising effort will go a long way in helping us provide vital support, raise awareness, and fight stigma for people living with EOPD in Ireland.
Community events like the StoneyWoods Festival don’t just raise funds — they also raise awareness and remind people living with EOPD that they are supported and never forgotten.

From all of us at EOPD Ireland — thank you so much, Clare, Pat, and the entire StoneyWoods Festival community.
Your support means the world to us.
