Early Onset Parkinson's Disease

We are a new dedicated support group providing information, advocating, raising awareness and offering peer support for Early Onset Parkinson’s in Ireland.  Have the support of people who understand as together we are stronger.  The tulip is the emblem for Parkinson’s worldwide and we have chosen the symbol of a lighthouse beam to help the EOPD community navigate their journey.

Welcome to Early Onset Parkinson’s Ireland

A common misconception about Parkinson’s disease is that it only affects older people, normally over the age of 65. However, PD can affect people of all ages. It is estimated that there is about 1600 people living with EOPD in Ireland. Early Onset Parkinson’s Disease was set up in 2021 as a company limited by guarantee and operating as EOPD.ie. Our application for Charitable Status is currently with the Charities Regulator.
